It all started the night that I brought my unconscious son to the hospital. That night he was diagnosed with diabetes and treated with insulin. I thought to myself that many of us know so much about the top athletes and celebrities. However, we don't know the dedicated scientists that improve our lives everyday. Dr. Frederick Banting discovered insulin and its therapeutic potential to treat diabetes. Dr. Banting along with the medical staff at the hospital saved my son's life. They are my Sci*lebrities!
